One-to-one dialogue with the learner. Agent asks opening questions per criterion, probes incomplete responses, judges evidence against the rubric. Non-revealing — never gives the correct answer during the session.
Formative and summative sub-modes
Agent listens silently to authentic dialogue between assessor and learner. Does not intervene. Assesses based on what it heard. Preserves authenticity — the Hawthorne effect is mitigated because the agent never speaks.
The learner walks a workshop or worksite, reads the procedure, answers by voice, photographs the equipment, and names hazards. Assembles a record of process knowledge and can also form part of a larger portfolio.
